Default Who wears the 'pants' in your household

Just interested to know who wears the pants in your household, as in who mows the lawn, bbq's dinner, does the painting etc.

Personally I love doing all that stuff, quite a bit of it was out of necessity when DH was Fifo, but DH can be quite possessive over these type of tasks now. I stood my ground until I broke the lawnmower... 😳He's never let me live that down! Haha

4:1 roster here to and I do it all. I do love to cook a BBQ though even when dh is home. I've almost completely done our gardens on my own.
I also rely on my dad to help with a few things but not much

The bbq (when we owned one!) has always been the only thing I consider "mans territory" in our house lol. Usually because the men congregate around it and us women are too busy chatting and getting our drink on so if was up to me we would never eat lol

We both wear the pants Though DP is much better cooking the BBQ than I am. I prep a lot of the BBQ but the she cooks it. We share outside care, though it's just a courtyard with a little garden down the back. We both high pressure hose the tiles and weed the garden when we need to. I'm the one who does spider patrol when we are outside.
When we wash the cars, we share that as well. Really, everything is shared.

I boss DH around a bit so I'd say I wear the pants. If I didn't we would be living in squalor though no he's pretty good, we share. He does the lawn/garden maintenance and likes to cook more than I do, whereas I do all cleaning and washing.

Mainly me because DH works such big days so I look after pretty much everything. I love doing the yard! DH is the 'fix it' guy though. He is super handy and can fix everything lol. I like to be able to do things around the house.

DP does all that stuff. I do like mowing the lawn but he usually does it when he feels it needs doing. He is a plasterer/builder so he takes care of all house maintenance and BBQ stuff. He's very much a blokey bloke. However he cooks 50% of all dinners and cleans up the kitchen too so he definitely pulls his weight indoors too. He's a good catch 💕
