I don't plan on cheating every week. Just on occasion. But I also don't really have much more weight to lose. Maybe a kilo or two. I actually don't want to eat the cake but i think it would be really rude to not eat something that I asked to be made 😩

Oh and I bought size 8 pants today 👍👍

I did eat some cake. A very tiny amount and although I'm well over my carb allowance (30 a day) I am still less than I was a week ago so I ended up with 90 today.

Weigh in day for me- weighed in at exactly the same as last Monday. Positives: homemade lunches for work (crustless quiche), rather than reaching for twisties and choc bars (which I had started doing in the past few months). Areas I aim to improve: weekends (better than before but still not great.). Also, need to up my veg/fibre intake. 400 g down in 2 weeks so far.

😂😂😂 well they were a tight fit but hopefully they will be ok soon.

Littleriv - glad you didn't gain, and I totally agree that the difference is thinking about what you're putting in your mouth.

Yes, rain bow road, it is very true. Weekends are harder, I find, as we are cooking non-stop for the kids, sometimes we have friends over, we love eating things while watching the footy etc.

Does anyone know munching on raw veg rather than cooked is better for fibre? or is cooked green veg the same? I have some in the freezer.
I have had a nasty cold these past few days and maybe the cold and flu tablets have affected my toilet habits, which is bad news for me. it is important I stay regular..

I'm not sure which is better. I have heard avocados are super high in fibre. Could you take psyllium husk or powdered fibre?

Mid week post- hope you are all going well- I feel good this week- feel like my appetite has changed- not craving those sugary/processed treats, and have said 'no' to them many times. Just don't need it! Have been great with lunches at work and dinners as well. Have been drinking a lot of water. Now the tougher part- the weekend approaches. We have family coming for a nice morning tea tomorrow (which usually consists of tea and scones) and we are on bbq duty at kids sports, so I will try for a bacon and egg roll minus the bun lol.

weigh in-down 1.1kg this week yay. Went well during the week (mon-fri), had a great brunch with family over on the weekend (I made a baked onion and bacon tart with no crust- it was divine- and rockmelon and mint salad), splurged yesterday with some drinks and snacks with friends, I used celery dippers instead of crackers.
