    Hi this is a great read! I have always followed a low/no carb diet, I quickly hit my goal weight after baby and even lost more.

    BUT recently, I started to relax a bit, as I had hit my target.

    What a mistake!

    I found myself craving more carbs, then more and MORE! Things I never eat such as pasta, bread, rice cakes, now even chocolate..! It's funny I think the more carbs you eat it, the more you want it. I feel like crap, bloated & sluggish, and my cravings are crazy!

    Gotta get back to how it was....!

    Thats exactly how it works. Sugar is highly addictive, it gives your body a nice boost of energy, and then drops you lower than when u began and pretty quickly! so your body demands another boost and another and another and another !

    Everyone says "in moderation is fine" but theres no such thing as moderation for me when it comes to carbs. Im like a shark with a drop of blood in the tank. Frenzy!!!!!

    5 days in... Dropped a couple of kilos - assuming it's water weight, but I also have AF and am still less than I was!

    I'm sticking to less than 30gm carbs a day, and averaging 15-20 net carbs which I am happy with! I also feel amazing- no sugar cravings at all! Today I made chocolate mousse fat bombs because I am hardly hungry and needed to eat some more calories. I added too much sweetener and it was seriously too sweet for me, and I used to have a massive sweet tooth.

    We have LCHF butter chicken tonight.

    5 kilos more. Then im done done done!

    I have a prob with retaining some size due to excess skin that cant shrink anymore so... Theres not a lot of point going much further than 5 more kgs.

    Cheat days/meals... Thoughts?

    My MIL has made a cake that I wanted her to make before I went LCHF and it's pretty much going to throw my day massively and I feel so guilty but I also think it would be super rude not to eat it!

    Plus, I do like cake.

    The issue with this diet and cheat meals is ketosis. Low carb sends your body into ketosis, your body eats fat for fuel as its not getting enough carbs to do so.

    It can take 2-3 or more days to get into ketosis. So if it was a weekly cheat meal and then your body takes a few days to get back to ketosis u will only have a few days each week where your body is losing weight.
