    Default 7 m/o not b/f much anymore

7 m/o DS is EBF. He is on solids, bf- porridge, lunch- fruit/ toast and has whatever we have for dinner if suitable

Anyway, he is hardly breastfeeding at all. This has also coincided with him sleeping better - he will now only wake at 4am for a short feed- he used to cluster feed through the night up until maybe 4 days ago.

So I am really full! I am stressing I am going to get mastitis again.

I'm offering boob all the time but he's not that interested

Is there anything I should be doing or is this normal? I thought about expressing but won't that mean my supply will increase?

I would call the Aba for advice but definitely express off at least once if he has dropped that many feeds quickly.

What are day feeds like? I am going to go out on a limb and day and say at 7 months if bub is fully on solids a 7pm-7am sleep is the norm not the exception. 4 good feeds during the day Is fine.

If you are full then try expressing a bit in the shower. Not too much though as you don't want your boobs to et used to producing that milk.

This. I'd be panicky if my kids were only on 4 feeds at 7mths. Milk is way way more important than solids at this age. There aren't enough calories and nutrients in solids as milk.

    IMO drop the solids.
