    Default Advice please

    Hi everyone,

I used the digital clearblue ovulation test this month and got my 2 day peak on CD12 and 13. I then retested on CD14 and it was back to low fertility. I am now on CD17 and I have EWCM? What does this mean? Am I ovulating again despite what the monitor says or...?

    Thank you

I can't be of much help here as I don't know much about opk's, but I just wanted to say that when I was using opk's (also the clear blue ones) I got over a week straight of really dark positives. It left me stressing that there was something wrong with my body and ovulation but that was the month I got a bfp. I haven't used them since.

I would just BD over the next couple days and hope for the best. Good luck!

Thanks Barnaby! That is how I feel, super stressed. When I took the test and got the smiley face peak on CD12 I didn't think I was showing any signs of ovulating so it took me by surprise. This TTC game is taking a toll on my mental health. Its draining when you become so consumed by it. I guess we can only wait and see!

Fwiw my Fertility Specialist advises to just dtd every second day through the middle of the cycle around when you ovulate and it will be as effective as using OPKs. That said I was a big fan of them for reassurance back when I thought we could conceive without ivf.

Good luck, try not to let the smiley face stress you out. I agree though, if it's more info you are looking for then combining temp charting with the opk even for a few cycles will give you a much clearer understanding of your cycle.
