    Default Fresh tuna ideas please

Hello, I need some ideas of what and how to cook fresh tuna... Happy to marinate it with some simple veggies etc.

    Thank you

    Default Fresh tuna ideas please

I like tuna with any kind of citrus sauce/butter so my fav is just grilled tuna steaks with garlic lemon butter ( just mix real butter with a clove of minced garlic/lemon zest and lemon juice and either chopped parsley or chives and roll into a log and put back in fridge to set ) once the steaks are cooked put a knob of butter on top and cover with foil to rest for 2 minutes - then when you take the foil off the butter has sunk into the fish !

Tuna bruschetta - bbq the tuna steaks and top with a bruschetta mix of tomatoes, red onions, basil and drizzle with caramalised balsamic vinegar

Or I do Tuna skewers - cube the tuna and marinate in lime juice, pepper, coriander and garlic and skewer with cherry tomatoes and cubed pieces of haloumi cheese - cook on bbq for 5 mins

Ok.....not a good idea to read about food before bed because.....I'm like YUMMY Yummy. Ha ha. Awesome idea and I'm taking it on I believe. If hubby doesn't want it like that then I'll do mine.
    Thank you
