Default 5 weeks brown watery discharge.... advice please :)

    Hi everyone.

Im in my 5th week of pregnancy and I know no two pregnancies are the same, as my doctor keeps pointing out but I didn't experience any discharge like this last time.

It started the week before I found out I was pregnant, I got my BFP at week three and has been going over since.

Somedays it seems less and somedays it seems more. Today especially has been watery and brown and I have noticed a tiny tiny little bit of mucous. It is only when I wipe (and I have been doing a lot of that believe me). I also have cramps, but I did have bad cramps with my daughter throughout the whole pregnancy, so that bit is not new to me.

My doctor doesn't seem concerned and just put it down to the baby implanting itself. But for three weeks full - time?

Im sorry if it is TMI after lots of you have probably just had dinner.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

    Thanks so much

    V x

I can understand it would be worrying. Have you got a scan coming up soon? You can get a scan privately from about 6 weeks and if there is any unusual bleeding they'll be able to see it on the scan. They'll also be able to check that your cervix is nice and closed too.

Let us know how you go.

Yes, I had brown, maroon, pink and red blood at about 6-7 weeks. Ds is now 14 months .

I wouldn't stress at the moment. Just look out for cramps or if it gets worse. Fx everything works out fine.

I know, its scary isn't it? I now put my bleeding down to an irritable/irritated cervix. Good luck at your appt!

    Default update!!

    Hi girls.
I wanted to do an update.
There is nothing worse than having anxiety about a symptom, you trawl the internet trying to find someone with the same symptom and you never find out what their outcome was.
The good news is.... I am currently 9 and a bit weeks pregnant. I have had two appts with our obgyn and he said everything looks great, today we even saw the little peanut moving around in there.
If you are experiencing what I did, of course you should get it checked out but please stay hopeful that there can be a good outcome at the other end.

    Goodluck with your pregnancy xx
