    Mine is:
    1 brown onion diced
    2 cloves of garlic crushed
    2 carrots diced
    2 sticks of celery diced
    1 large potato diced
    1 zucchini diced
    2 cup frozen peas
    250g bacon diced
    400g tin chopped tomatoes
    400g tin of cannellini beans
    Soup pasta or macaroni
    Beef stock

Fry your bacon in some olive oil and then add your onions, garlic, carrots and celery and cook until slightly softened.
Add your tinned tomatoes, beans and potatoes and stock and let simmer until all veggies have softened - I usually add a couple of bayleaves as well.
Add your pasta, zucchini and frozen peas and simmer until pasta is cooked and zucchini tender.
Season with salt and pepper and serve topped with shaved parmesan.

About 4 to 6 cups approximately. I sometimes use a mix of stock and water if I don't have enough stock.

I made a beef and barley soup/stew last night - OMG divine! It doesn't look very nice but it was lovely. For a more soupy texture add less water. I added half a cup of red wine too.

I prefer a stew @monnie24 but some soups (with a filler like beans, barley or potato) i really like. If it looks a bit meh, i blend it smooth
