    Ive just put chicken and corn noodle soup in for dinner tonight

    4 cups of chicken stock
    2 cups of water
    1 onion, grated
    200ģ diced bacon
    2 chicken breast
    1 tin corn kernals
    2 tins creamed corn
    Salt/ pepper to taste

    Put everything in the slow cooker except creamed corn and noodles

    Poach chicken for 2-3 hours on high then remove and shred

    Put chicken and tins of creamed corn in and cook for 2-3 hours on high. Add 2 min noodles half hour before finishing

    About 4 to 6 cups approximately. I sometimes use a mix of stock and water if I don't have enough stock.

    I made a beef and barley soup/stew last night - OMG divine! It doesn't look very nice but it was lovely. For a more soupy texture add less water. I added half a cup of red wine too.

    I prefer a stew @monnie24 but some soups (with a filler like beans, barley or potato) i really like. If it looks a bit meh, i blend it smooth
