My doc explained to me that basically you have had synthetic hormone in your system for years and your body didn't have to produce it's own so sometimes it takes a little while to start doing its thing again.
Yeah I just came off and had a 38 day cycle, very frustrating how it mucks your body up and now to see if we are actually ovulating as well!
Fingers crossed this is our month

TTC #1 here too. I actually got a BFP late March after 3 months trying after coming off the pill for 12 years but unfortunately lost the pregnancy this weekend, I would have been 9 weeks but bub was only measuring 6w.
Hubby and I will be back trying after I have 1 cycle, not sure when that will happen, I assume maybe in 6 weeks, sigh so far away!
Anyhow thought I would stop by and cheer you girls on till I can 'actively' join in with you all!
I was on the pill for just over 15 years - 4th cycle off now. Have had 31,27,29and now a 22 day cycle. That's why I started temping straight away to confirm O as that was my number one concern after knowing women who took months to O this first time.
So sorry for your loss Lauzie
Temping is good, I'm a scientist so I really like data!!. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1430748666.719730.jpg
The temp shift confirms O but I have not got a positive OPK (on IC or digital). I think my surge is too quick (I've only poas once a day). I am going to try ferning this month too!
Meaning I don't trust the OPKs - I know women who have got pregnant with a negative OPK
