Default TTC - charting and metformin

    Hi everyone,

I'm new to BubHub so hope I haven't made any mistakes.
I'm also fairly new to charting and want to know if anybody else is doing it.

Just a bit of background info on me:

I got married 5 months ago, we stopped using protection over 6 months ago but haven't been actively trying.

A month ago I found out I have insulin resistance which has caused me to gain 20kg in just over a year after losing that much the previous year.

In addition to IR, I also have a hormone imbalance; high testosterone and low progesterone which will make conceiving and staying pregnant quite difficult.

I have begun logging my bbt, cm and cp in the hopes that I can at least see ovulation happening.

I am currently taking metformin to regulate my insulin and hormones.

    Sorry for the long post!!!

Would love to hear from other ladies taking metformin or anyone that's charting. TIA xx

hello and welcome! are you using an app to help you chart? I was using ff but I found the daily temping started to feel obsessive. I've cooled off on the daily temping, just measuring bbt around o time and then again towards when af is due to see if my temps are staying high or if it drops, I know af is coming.

charting is definitely good as a way to get an idea of what is happening with your cycle.

    Hi Lolly,

I'm charting bbt as well for now. Just trying to get a better idea of what my body is doing.

    Kazza,

I'm not sure how to add photos yet.
I'm using the mobile app, do I have to go online?

I do but so far I'm not seeing much of a pattern.

Take a screen shot of your chart then go back to the app here, then click the icon with a hill and sun
