But Dr told me if only happen when your next periods will be come. The periods are over 1month and one week late. I am too scared that now the periods will be come or not. Do you think Is there is any hope for me.

@Bongley that's seriously huge decision. I wish i could be as brave as you. Looks like you may have few donor options there which is fantastic. Thanks for the ad info.
@Leisylou it looks like 3 months off. I'll be flying home in May and come back in July. Have to work around mum's surgery so i can help her. Shoulder surgery takes 6-12 weeks to recover. And as my dad already passed away few years back, she would be alone. But i hope i can last on that detox program. I have taken plenty of notes from this thread from all the lovely ladies. Also get updates from one fertilit web which got some seriously good articles.

Hi to everyone else. Hope this weekend will be much happier than the last one! 😊

@Peet welcome to this thread. FS do all kinds of tests and after one tracking cycle they will have more info for you. I think they have to wait for AF to arrive so they can do tracking cycle.

Winsor I'm not sure of the details, the nurses mentioned it to me but didn't really elaborate.

    Welcome Peet.

@Peet Welcome to the thread!! There is medication your FS can give you to make you have a period. "Provera" is the name of it. Just because your periods have become irregular doesn't mean that there are no eggs left in your ovaries.

The only way to know is to do an IVF Cycle with the drugs you inject into your body (called FSH-Follicle Stimulating Hormone) that will make your ovaries grow many follicles at once which will hopefully have eggs in them. You won't know how many will grow until you start taking the drugs and your FS does BT's (blood tests) to measure your hormone levels and scans to see how many follicles are on your ovaries. Then your FS will have a good idea how many eggs you will have. You will know for sure how many you have and how many can be used with your husbands sperm when you go and have the eggs collected (called EPU..Egg Pick Up).

Maybe ask your FS for the Provera medicine to make you have a period and then you can start the IVF. Please ask as many questions as you want. All of the Ladies here will help you if we can Good Luck!!!

Welcome @Peet, I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. It's not fair at all for you to be in this situation when still so young. I can imagine it's especially hard doing IVF when English isn't your first language, but as you can see there are a lot of lovely knowledgeable women here who can help answer your questions. I often find nurses can explain things a little more clearly too. Maybe some of the ladies here can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think AMH testing is definitive. Although yours is low, there is still hope that your body will respond well to IVF.

Thanks everyone for giving me the information about the IVF. I done the blood test in February the FSH level is 19 IUI. The LH level is 13.Is it increasing to going to the decreasing the level of eggs. Actually i don't have much information about the medical terms. I done the pelvic ultrasound that is good nothing wrong in this one . If I take the medicine that you told me about the periods will be come after finish cycle can I go through the IVF same month.
    Thanks for helping me .

@Peet I think once you take the medicine and your period comes you can start IVF straight away with the injections. I've never had to take the medicine myself, so am hoping one of the other Girls here on the thread who has taken it will tell us if you can do that

Hi @Peet! well, it depends on the kind of cycle they put you on. For example I was on long cycles so I would take provera for 7 days and then stop. 3 days later I would get my period and that is cycle day 1. However for a long cycle you have to go on the pill for a month and then you start injections when you get your next period. (6 weeks from cycle day 1 to egg pick up)

If you are on a short cycle though, you take provera, get your period and then start injecting straight away. (2 weeks from cycle day1 to egg pick up)

    good luck!

We'll, I spoke to my partner about starting another cycle tomorrow and I said I couldn't really face it. So he said let's call it quits. Which took me aback at first but then I agreed. So I think that's it

On a more positive note another donor has contacted me tonight. So I will start a conversation with her tomorrow. She has just helped another couple get pregnant so she obviously knows the ivf ropes by now.
I'm excited but sad too. I'm sure you all understand.
Good luck with the donor @Bongley.
Well I'm on cd1 now and those pricks at the clinic never even got back to me about the natural FET so no choice now, need to start the drugs today. It's almost like they've wiped me since I forced them to change their 'rules' last time. I'll be glad to see the back of them. So, I guess I'll be doing the last transfer around the last few days of this month.
On a brighter note I've realised that if we claim our tax this year as a family, which dp and I have never done before, I'll get back 20% of my medical expenses over $2000 rather than only 10% over $5000 and I will no longer have to pay the medicare surcharge ! PLUS if we go to SA we can squeeze the payment in before The end of fin year and 'medical expenses incurred while o/s' are claimable. That has just made me a small fortune. I also wouldn't be surprised if all the expenses incurred getting to sa for the procedure are claimable as part of the medical expenses eg flights. Probably wishful thinking but I'm def going to be asking that question. Btw on the ato web site, this is the last year for claiming medical expenses unfortunately.
