Default Hcg doubling rate slowing down?

Hi everyone, I would like to share my story at the moment and ask your opinions. On the 26th February, I had a miscarriage at 4w5d. My hcg went from 11 to 7 to under 3. It was a really hard time, but was lucky enough to get pregnant again straight away. Currently I am 5w2d.

On Thursday I had the teensiest tiniest bit of very light brown spotting. I went to the hospital to get my anti d jab.

These are my recent hcg levels:
    23rd March 3w4 hcg 67
    27th March 4w1d hcg 303
    2nd April 5w hcg 2054
    4th April 5w2d hcg 3366.

Between 67 and 303 there were 96hours in between tests. It had a doubling rate of every 44.1hrs.
Between 303 and 2054 there were approx 142 hours between tests. It had a doubling rate of every 51.43hrs.
Between 2054 and 3366 there were 47.5hrs in between tests. It had a doubling rate of every 66.66hrs.

Doctor at the hospital thinks my pregnancy isn't viable because it's not doubling in 48hrs (I said I thought it was 48-72hrs) but wouldn't send me for a scan as apparently it's not an emergency and the public hospital in a frickn capital city apparently doesn't have the funding for a sonographer on a public holiday!!!

I've also read on many sites that once a hcg is <1200 it takes 48-72hrs to double, 1200-6000 takes 72-96hrs, and >6000 takes 96+hrs.

What do you all think? I'm so mad at the doctor for potentially putting me under unnecessary stress!

I think your numbers are fine. If there's no more bleeding and no cramping I don't see why they would think it's not viable. Of course it's possible that the pregnancy might not continue, but I hardly think those numbers alone would be enough to say either way.

    Thank you Cue :-)
I'm still very scared, I don't know how I'm going to get through the next couple of days.

Your numbers seem great to me. we had erratic doubling times with this bubba but so far all seems healthy x

You're absolutely right that it slows down once it gets to about 1200 and even more so once it's over 6000.

That's exactly what I thought but the doctor in emergency wouldn't listen. I've been freaking out for the past 24hrs. I've had no pain or bleeding still which is good.

It is 48-72 hours. Which you are within. Obviously I don't know if this pg is viable, but given your numbers it seems on the lower end of normal. And normal is a huge range.

As you can see, DPs levels are very low compared to some. But that's just all she needs to make to grow a baby it seems!

Thank you for sharing that. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one with lower numbers. Good luck with you and your partners pregnancy :-)
