    Been a bit MIA due to having a lot of health issues being investigated.
    Hoping to be on the other side of those now, I have a follow up appointment on the 15th.

    In the meantime, I've adjusted my goal date to the 13/07/15 and to lose 7 kg. Hoping the weight loss will bring my cycle back because this 54 day cycle stuff is doing my head in!

    How is everyone else going?

    Hi ladies sorry if I'm butting in here. I was just flicking through this thread & I couldn't help but wonder if any of you have tried doing a Low carb high fat way of eating?

    It is one of the easiest & yummiest "diets" ive ever done. Changed our way of eating forever. Lots of meat, eggs, cream, cheese, butter on your veggies! No pasta, potatoes, breads, no sugars etc. In other words just real food. You don't get hungry much either. Today I had 3 eggs for breakfast, then I forgot to eat until 4pm! I can literally go all day. I noticed that a few of you also have various issues such as thyroid, hormone, pcos, irregular cycles etc. My sil was overweight & had been ttc for 2yrs & diagnosed with pcos. 3 months on a strict LCHF eating & she had regulated her cycles, lost over 10kg & fell pregnant! My hubby has lost 8kg & I've lost 4kg (we're not overweight either). I don't know the science, but I have heard apparently women need high fat in their diet for fertility. Food for thought!

    I hope your tww is a good one for you!
    I am hoping to be through it, will find out results from my tests on the 15th. I'm getting back into exercising this week. just low impact, walking the dog every day at the moment.

    @Snooze that seems way too risky for me. I can also go hours without eating. I'm never hungry. My problem is mental, I just enjoy eating.
    I have had a dietician make a plan for me which seems to be working.
    Also, I would never cut out carbs completely; our bodies require it for energy. That's my opinion anyway.

    Ta! 15th feels so far away right now
    Low impact is better than nothing. And it's not too much to overwhelm you. Xx

    @GemimaPuddleduck that's all good, a lot of people struggle to get their head around it. I'm not trying to convince anyone just sharing the knowledge & results we have witnessed first hand

    @Snooze

    I have lost over 10kgs and it hasn't made a difference to my pcos or my cycle. My current cycle is over 155 days long.

    Default TTC and weight loss

    @Mamasupial and doctors say if you lose weight it'll fix it. Sometimes I think they're full of ****. They will blame everything on being overweight. I've lost more than 15kgs and nothing's changed.
