We're hoping to start TTC next month while we're overseas. I'm crapping myself to be honest. I've lost all faith in my body to get anything right.

In the meantime, though, I'm planning our trip to the states and making a half hearted attempt to lose weight (Hawaii is on the itinerary and I have unforgiving snowy white skin).

I'm wondering whether I should stop taking the pill now, or wait until we're ready to start trying in November. I fell pregnant with my daughter on my first cycle off the pill and read at the time that it can help to regulate your hormones.
I'm also trying to remember when it is recommended that you start pre-natal vitamins, is it 1 month or 3 months prior to TTC?
I have always felt like my husband isn't as ready as me for another baby but over the last few days he's been factoring another baby into his future plans (like saying "when dd1 and our next baby are older, I'm going to get a wrx" *rolls eyes*). It makes me excited to think that he's getting as excited as I am.

3 months for prenatals/folic acid JR.

I'm kind of graduating from here, at least temporarily. I've had my Skype with my FS, everything is locked in and ready to go, and we're aiming for transfer on 11th Sept.

If we get a BFN from this then I'll be back here indefinitely, but for now I'm trying not to look that far ahead!

I don't bother taking them while ttc cause they are expensive and last time it took around 16 months.

My ob said last time, to take i-folic (black mores). She said that's all that's needed. I wouldn't risk not taking folate whole ttc

We're playing the waiting game too TortoiseNotTheHare....my DH has just been offered a job back in the UK which means moving Nov/Dec this year. Am so keen to start trying now but we're faced with staying with my in laws for a few months until we can buy/rent a house and I really don't want to have spend half a prengnancy staying with other people - would rather be settled in our own house, and get comfortable somewhere as would love a home birth...the waiting is awful though!

Thanks for the advice on the pre-natal vitamins ladies, just bought 3 months supply of blackmores pregnancy and breastfeeding gold which I found to be the easiest to tolerate taste-wise last time, for $35, down from $65 online from chemists warehouse! Bargain.

DF (yep no longer DP as of Saturday 😁) has agreed to start this cycle. So fingers crossed. Weight loss not happening but am forcing myself now. I refuse to have any more "fat" photos.

Congratulations!!! I'm still impatiently waiting. Hopefully engaged before the next baby...
