For some reason I thought you were still BFing and that's why everything was delayed. Prior to having your DD would your cycles be so long?

Nah she refused the breast and I had next to no milk. My cycles were just as awful ttc my daughter. Out of 16 months ttc her i ovulated once and that's when I got pregnant with her.

I've heard that PCOS can cause a low milk supply too? I hope your little miss is keeping you very busy whilst you wait out ovulation.

Yea I have heard that too.

Oh yes! She keeps me super busy. She's a reflux Bub and had an adversion to feeding. She ended up with failure to thrive. She's put on weight now but feeding is a constant struggle.

Just thought I'd let you all know that AF arrived yesterday. I'm actually pretty excited though because it's a decent flow (though still that what I'd say is normal for me), one like I haven't seen in years!! Seems something is working right. It was weird that I still had sore nipples (sorry for the TMI) right up until last night though. Ah well. Back on track.

Mamasupial what brand OPKs are you using. I had a lot of trouble with internet cheepies but then that's common for those with PCOS.

That's good news and now you can jump back into it!! I'm finding this wait difficult tonight. I keep thinking would it be bad to have our appointment a bit sooner?? Lol. I need to just be patient really.

DH keeps telling me patience is a virtue.....I'm sure I'll smack him across the head one of these day

I never got a positive on them either. I got to the stage where I was using them and as soon as I got a second line of any sort I'd switch to one of the more expensive brands which would pick up on O.

@Chunkydunks Yay! I'm glad things are getting going for you finally. It's nice to feel like your body is cooperating

@TortoiseNotTheHare I hear you on feeling impatient! I wish I could be more zen about it all, but it's not easy!

Afm, I'm not doing very well on the whole weight loss thing. I was SO GOOD for 2 whole weeks, counting calories, eating loads of vegies, smashing it at boot camp and I did not lose one single gram! Dammit. So I had a mega blow out over the weekend and ate and drank far more than was good for me. Ah well. Back on track today and getting on the healthy train again
