    Default tubes tied or clamped during c section.

    Im wanting to get tubes tied or clamped while havingc section. Is there regulations or side affects?

    Depends on your age, which hospital and doctor you use.

    My ob won't do it unless you are over 35yo and have finished your family.

    wifey of hubby who is always away. mother of two girls who are always amusing.

    Im 25 with a 7,4 and 3 yr old. And one due in june. I dont want anymore kids and everything else has failed lol.

    Also do your research first - I'd look into tubal ligation syndrome and be aware that many report heavier more uncomfortable periods post TL. I'd also consider all other options first (pill, mirena, depo etc)

    The pill caused bad mood swings and didnt work (7 yr old) the devo didnt work (3yr old) and mirena 4 yr old. Also was breast feeding.

    And i was on injections and pill with current

    I think being 25 might work against you! Could you combine hormonal contraception a with ahem, traditional methods ie condoms?

    My OB wouldn't do it after csection as he preferred to let my body settle and for me to be absolutely sure. I was 36 with 3 children.

    So my husband had the snip instead - 20 mins in the Drs rooms and no time off work.
