I woke up to the pop of my waters. An hour later I was having strong contractions.

For a few weeks before hand I had period like pains and lots of strong bh.

Haha nope not with any of mine! With my 3rd baby a friend of mine said your baby is coming today I thought nothing of it and went into Labour that night. With my 4th I woke at 5.30 am with 1 strong contraction went to the hospital at 7.30 after having no more contractions just for a quick check and I was 8cm gone already! Had him at 10am when they decided to break my water (after telling them numerous time bub won't come out until they do).

With DD (first baby) I felt fine but did have a bit of an upset tummy the day before which in hindsight was probably my body clearing itself out in preparation. I also thought some of my plug had come away in the days leading up to it. It was really anything that made me think labour was about to start, I was so sure I'd go over.

With DS (second bub) I was convinced he'd be early - I had uncomfortable BH for weeks!! He was so low and I was constantly having stop-start pre-labour. Ended up being induced, he was comfy in there but I couldn't take it anymore. He was big so I'm glad I kicked him out lol!

Really, really grumpy and convinced I'd be pregnant forever at my 38 week appointment - almost like pms style grumpiness, went into labour the next day! Also had the "clear out" going to the toilet 5/6 times a day for a few days beforehand and lots and lots of Braxton Hicks.

Absolutely nothing! I had no BH through my pregnancy, no different back pain than the normal strain of carrying a huge belly. My first contraction was my first sign that the baby was ever going to come out.

with dd i woke up feeling like i had an upset stomach. went to the toilet every half hour for about 5 hours thinking i was going to poop myself. Eventually rang the hospital and they said i'd better come in. I think i really did know though, as our nursery was in shambles due to staining the furniture the night before, so I had started putting everything back in the cupboards at about 5am...
