I'm wearing leggings, sc**w them! Polo covers my butt.

ETA: apparently that doesn't count as a swear word but the proper word for butt does??

Ask my bestie what she feels is reasonable for people to spend for her hens (I don't know half the people coming so don't know their situations) I thought $100 per person was plenty.. She said she thinks $200 per person is better. I told her that's extremely steep, there's no way I'd pay that for a hens and she said oh but it's a good amount!

It is isn't it?! I have to travel from nsw to qld on top of that. I am in 2 minds if I will go anyway. It's very expensive for 1 night but to say I should spend over $200 for just one night?! I think everyone will tell her where to go!

Ummm... I would not attend a hens if I paid , $200. $100 - reasonable. What are you planning for the hens?

Whoa! I'm currently planning my sister's and am thinking asking people to spend $80-100 is the absolute limit.

What is she thinking of doing for it to be $200?

I have to pay for flights and accommodation as well. Going to be a $$ weekend!

I'm planning it so I can guarantee its not going to be $200. I would never pay that so why should u expect other people to? Insane much?
I thought $100 would be enough.
I was thinking some form of pamper party, with food but byo drinks.. she's now told me they are moving out of Brisbane and have no idea how I'll go organising it easily now. I have no idea where she's moving.

Wow times have changed. When I got married it was the custom for guest just to pay for their own drinks and one or two for the bride. So if you were broke you could still go and drink water all night.

Asking 200 for the hens night and another huge chunk for a wedding gift is just beyond my understanding. It certainly not how I would treat my friends.
