I don't even know my blood type ffs. they took 3 vials of blood, surely more was looked at than just those 4 things??
Usually - it's a FBC/iron studies, blood type testing, serology for HIV/HepC/syphilis/rubella with hcg.

They never mentioned Hcg to me..

Although I was "young" so the only question I got was if I had "considered all my options?".

You can ask your gp for a copy of the results.

I specified what I wanted done, he said he would do it (I had reasons and he said that he agreed that checking those things was important) and obviously didn't.
Saw a different GP for the results, and I asked for a copy (always do) and he refused.
I have lodged formal complaints about both GPs.

You are definitely entitled to getting copies of your results. Tho tbh I've never received them from doctors as I just print them out at work.

    I never get level either.

I also got the 'options' question in a firm are freaking crazy way more than once from different gps while mine was away. Even it's not too late to look at your options.

Boy did they get a freaking mouthful.
I even got midwife to write not ask me that question on the front page of file and I wrote it on the top of my paperwork in red pen.

My DH just went to the toilet for a sit and think. He left the footy on the TV and the remote is at the other end of the couch.

Dh decided to blow up balloons for ds's party. Bigger & bigger & bigger. Refused to test how tight it was 'oh they go three times the size of this!' Says dh when i can see how tight the balloon is from across the room. I said 'its going to pop' multiple times 'oh no no no its fine' says dh

Next thing BANG!! Cue the SCREAMING from ds.......

How hard is it to comprehend?......

Poor ds1 cut his foot quite nasty and than fainted and vomited up more than any teenage tummy should hold. Right next to me as I was dishing up dinner.

He has his colour back now.
    Poor thing.
