Bought a little dress for dd off a seconds handmade page on fb.
First she gives me the an email address with a typo so I had to cancel the PayPal payment- PayPal is still holding on to my money. Apparently they like to hold it for at least two weeks because its good for their tax purposes or something. So I paid a second time and now she has just emailed me to say she has sent me the wrong dress. So now I will have to send it back and wait for it to come again.
Sometimes things just become way too hard!

Also- I got paid Saturday and now I'm broke again.

Oh I hear ya. On the weekend my cousin noticed that my tyre was low, got out the tyre gauge then cranked up the air compressor in the back of his 4wd and did all of my tyres. This is exactly what my dad would have done and was what I grew up thinking all men did. Dh wouldn't have even noticed it was low. But he has so many other amazing qualities and I'm lucky to have cousins around to fill the gaps.

Mine either, when he does try to be the first attempt is always the trial. Even flat packs something goes wrong.... When he is following the instructions.

Doesn't make it any easier when my mum keeps having digs at him and is paying someone to do simple things that he could have done.

My DH is also a procrastinator and takes a long time to do anything. I find that extremely frustrating. Sometimes so much so that I just want to scream.

My dh has unlimited optimism. Sometimes i forget. cue me asking "do you think this 3.5m jump lead is long enough" (thinking the car is at least 3m ) long so...) and dh said "sure it is". We had to push thr car out of the garage as i originally thought.

Me: "have you done this before?"
    Dh: "yep"

5mins later he turns jump started car off.
    Dh: "um...it won't start again".
Me: "yeah I thought you were supposed to drive it for like an hour straight after a flat battery so it can recharge"
    Dh: "oh..."

*should have done it myself* happens everytime anything "handyman" needs to get done.

Trying so hard to refrain from commenting on fb about someone I know who drinks up to and over 3L coke a day, smokes pot and cigarettes like his life depended on it and pops dexies like they are lollies to counteract the effects of pot just to be able to function, who complains about a chlorine spill that resulted in evacuation of some houses. The problem is he refuses to drink water at all because fish live in it and toilet in it and it also contains chorine and chlorine is bad and dangerous to your health. So bad that if it causes evacuations then it shouldn't be in water we drink and that's why he won't drink water..

Oh.. The hypocrisy of it all..
