Struggling lately to keep coming up with tasty and healthy meal ideas for dinner that at least 2/3 kids will like. I don't mind cooking but it's disheartening when the kids all say they hate it.

I officially give up on driving. Surely i cant be the only one in the world with a severe driving phobia but i must be because literally no-one understands & no-one can help me.

@heartstringz you aren't the only one. I have a driving phobia too. I got my ls 2 years ago and still haven't driven once.

Glad its not just me, but obviously everyone in a position to help people like us are those who just jumped into the drivers seat for the first time & just drove with no problems, no fear no nothing. Cause they just do not get it, at all.

Yep! My xh way of 'helping' was just to say here are the keys go for it. It is so frustrating. I mean being in charge of a 1 ton machine at high speed is terrifying how do they not see that?

This was me for years and years and years.

I'm now super close to getting my Ps, and I have to say that the more I've driven the more the phobia has disappeared. I can relax much more when other people are driving as well.

I do understand - I first got my Ls at 17 and I'm 35 now. For me, my change in life circumstances meant I had little choice but to suck it up and learn. And now I'm hanging to get my Ps? I can't wait for all the independence!!

I hope you can get there one day. And I believe you can too :-)

I'm another who doesn't like driving. I am getting better as it doesn't make me super anxious beforehand but I'm not confident enough yet..

I only have a couple months left before my L's expire and I want my P's before that happens.

Samesies re: driving. Didn't get L's till I was 20 and now at 27 its beyond a joke. I walk 40 mins to the train station at 3.20am every morning shift and have been doing so for 3 years. I recently started paying for lessons but still panic in the car. And every single time with dp just turns into the worst arguments. Its devastating and embarrassing
