DP wouldn't care but I would.
I definitely wouldn't live in it, and probably wouldn't buy it as an investment either.

If it's cheap to buy, then it's probably going to be cheap when I'd go to sell down the track for the same reason. It's like power lines, flight paths and busy roads - it will reduce the number if buyers that can live with it.

I saw on the news this week that an apartment that was the scene of a murder in very recent times was up for sale. The REA was saying they must disclose to potential buyers.
The REA didn't seem too phased by it.

I'm not spiritual or religious at all. I don't really believe in ghosts/spirits but I do believe in the "vibe of the thing"! So if I walked in and felt the slightest bit "ick" I'd be outta there. If I didn't, and the price was right, I'd be fine!

I would verbally tell prospective purchasers if they show interest in writing a contract. I remember a property where a relative of the vendors died working on the property. Not a fun situation to disclose

A home where a high-profile murder happened in our area back in the 90s just sold a couple of months back. They got a lowish price for the suburb but the family were just happy to be rid of it. There was a story in the paper prior to the auction, the agent seemed happy to speak to the media. He apparently spoke to every group that walked through about the home's past.
Personally I wouldn't buy a home with that kind of past, unless it was to knock down and redevelop perhaps.

I couldn't bring myself to, no. Especially not to live in myself.
There is a house a few blocks away from me where a murder occurred and I think of it everytime I pass it by! In my head I go "ooh, there's the murder house!" But, that's just me
