    As for the question in the OP, no I wouldn't buy a house where someone died.

    We ended up with 4 registered bidders ( which is quite below our average of about 12 ) and the bidding was slow to start and opened at $650,000 ( reserve was $800,000 and she said they would take whatever they could get) it sold for .......,
















    $942,000!!!!!!!

    So happy for them! 2 bidders went nuts from about $820,000 and it sold to a really nice divorced lady with 2 teenagers, they were ecstatic and didn't care at all about the history ( she googled the case after her first inspection and knew every detail )
