Hi Eko, I think I remember you from way back when. I'm also expecting my third bub (also a surprise) in less than 3 weeks. Now that is scary!
@MissXamA how are you going at this late stage of pregnancy?? I am tired but still working until 39.5 weeks.

So anyone else in QLD, have your kids started waking up at the butt crack of dawn too? I hate not having daylight savings!!! Meadow up at 4:30 this morning again. Hate it. Her room is really dark too!! She did this last year as well. Told DH he'll be the one dealing with her when I've got new bub and have been up half the night.

    Hey Bond!!!
Not long to go at all! I am 37 weeks and told last week Bub would be here within 2 weeks, the OB doesn't see me lasting until 38 weeks! Very heavy and hot, but trying to enjoy the last few days/weeks.
Have another OB appt this arvo to see what is going on

I am lucky that Chelsea has started waking at 6:30am!!! But that is after 2 years of 4:30am/5am wake ups!!! I keep wondering when it will end!!

Good girl Chelsea! 6:30 is a dream! How did your OB appointment today go? Sure your bub will be here before mine then, given my history of going very overdue! I'm 38 weeks on Tues and definitely think I've got a while yet. Though that's good because DH has just gone to Singapore and and Indonesia for 6 days. :-)

Smurfy, yeah I would rather not still be working but need to maximise the paid time off after the birth. It's the latest I've ever kept working. Just realised today I only have another two weeks left though, so not long. :-)

OB appt was good. Haven't dilated any further, but lining is thinning and Bub is at -2. He doesn't think anything will happen in the next week. All this morning Bub was very quiet, then I was stuck in the KFC drive thru and felt like I needed to push!!!!!! But has all calmed down.

Bub seems to be sitting posterior, so i will manage as best as I can and then get an epidural when the time comes. Pushing Chelsea was just to much!

Don't know how you are managing work and 2 kids!!! I am stuffed everyday and can barely move!!
I hang out the washing and then need to lie down! So pathetic lol

    Hey Bond,

How old is Meadow? We bought Elsie a Gro Clock around June this year (so just after she turned 2) and it's an absolute godsend. Took her a few days to get used to it, we introduced it the same day she moved from cot to toddler bed. It's set for 6:30 most days, 6 on Saturdays and 7 on Sunday's. She will some days wake up before it turns into a sun but we just go in and gently remind her it hasn't turned into the sun yet and she will either lie back down quietly or have a tiny sook but still stay in bed. When we first introduced it she would wake like 5 minutes before it was meant to change and it felt so mean upsetting her so much for 5 minutes but we obviously had to teach the concept.

Hi Eko! I remember you too from the origins of the group! It's amazing how time has made such changes for everyone.

MissXamA and Bond - I can't believe you are both due within weeks! And Bond I can't believe you are still working. Good on you!

AFM - 32 weeks here. Exhausted most of the time. E is non stop but doing well

Miss X - spend lots of time on all 4s, makes ur tummy create a hammock shape which is easier for bubs to turn in. Caleb was posterior at 36 weeks but turned 2 days before birth at 37 week

Thanks honey - I have been doing that and will keep trying. Plus I have been mentally thinking and also chanting 'baby turn'.
    Fingers crossed it happens!
