i have the performance ergo which i love. its also the coolest as it has mesh material in parts. (in summer it gets really hot wearing them) tho ergo have released a 360 ergo which could also be great because not all babies like facing inwards.

I had the original but sold it and got the Ventus. We live in nth qld and bub and i were drenched with sweat even after a short time wearing it. The Ventus is all mesh and so much better, she seems more settled in it too because she isnt so hot.

I have the performance as well and we really like it, the mesh is great and it's cool enough for life in the tropics.

We have the performance one as well, and mainly because it was to also been worn by DH who tends to overheat as it is and didn't want to overheat the baby in the carrier as well. For a newborn though (with any Ergo) you either need a infant insert or a rolled up towel otherwise bub gets lost being so small.

I have the Performance and also just bought the 360. I don't like it for the newborn stage (I find the insert really bulky) but love it when I can pop bub in it without the insert.

We have the performance too. But we never needed the insert as both girls were over 4kg when we used it.
I think you only need the insert if you have a small bub. Just check with the retailer.

So glad I found this thread...

I have a 4wk old and a 3yr so thinking of getting one, I'm not a skinny mini so are they adjustable for a round little lady?

Yes, MrsSS, you can definitely adjust them around the waist/shoulders etc, as my DH and I are both different sizes from each other and used to adjust to fit me every time I used it after him.

What's the difference between a baby bjorn and an ergo? I'm definitely getting something this time just unsure of what I need or want...
