Default Any idea what this is?

Dd2 has a pimple looking thing almost in her leg crease. It looks like a pimple but has been there for months. It has developed a pure white top, kind of like talcum powder on an open sore type look to it. I have tried cleaning it just to make sure it's not but it wouldn't come off.1426927241764.jpg

Get the GP to take a look. I had a very similar pimple-like thing next to my nose, ended up having a biopsy and got it removed. It was a spitz nevus.

It's probably nothing but anything funky on the skin should be checked out.

Could be molluscum contagiosum super common in kids and so contagious but harmless. Usually there are more than one though. GP will be able to confirm.

    I don't think it's a wart.

She has a few rashy bumps on her backside as well.

She just scratched it and the white bit came off. Looks like she took a layer of skin off with it.

D's gets them bad in his groin. He had to get one cut of his testicle because it got badly infected. He has maybe 30 something of them all over his body most on his legs.

Is it slightly concave on top? I'd suggest Molluscum Contagiosum too

    Poor boy.

Ds1 had them on arms and back. But only 5 or 6. I'm assuming we picked them up at the local pool.

    They're so contagious. Yuk.
