I have three little (technically half) brothers. They are 14, 13 next week, and 10. I love them to bits, and as they get older can really relate with them. They are wonderful with DS too.

I also have at least two more younger half sibs from my biological father, but he has no interest in contact with me (I've tried) and lives in Hong Kong, so unlikely I will ever meet them.

Hi! Hope you don't mind me jumping in

I am an only child between my mother and father. They separated when I was little and both remarried. My mother and step father gave me 4 amazing half sisters and my father and step mother (whom I absolutely adore as if she was my own mother) gave me 1 half sister. My father, being the free spirited, honeymoon phase living guy that he is, 4 years ago separated and remarried again, giving me two step brothers.

I have amazing relationships with my sisters. I never think of them as half. Ever. They're my bestest friends in the whole wide world! My step brothers, not so much. I like them a lot, but I think the reason I don't feel as close with them is because they came into my life as bratty teens when I was an adult. That and their mother (and sometimes my father) hands them everything on a silver platter and treats them like 30 year olds. I'm probably a little jello of how much attention they get from my father too but that's a whole other discussion on a whole other thread

I have 2 younger sisters, 20 and 23. They are the biggest, laziest, spoilt, rude brats I have ever known but they are my sisters and I love them! We fight like you would not believe but I am fiercely protective. They are great with my kids and help out a lot (or more so, when it works in with their 'busy' lives! I also have a brother 10 years older. My mum met my dad when he was about 3. He was a stubborn, arrogant pain in the @rse but I idolised him. He was very protective of us girls growing up and even though we were always getting him in trouble, he loved us. Sadly he passed away at the beginning of the year. There are no words to describe my heartache. He really was more than just my brother. Mum also had a baby girl in between my brother and I but she passed away at 17 days old.

I have 3 older sisters. #1 is 2.5 years older than me, #2 is 16 years older than me and #3 is 18 years older. I don't speak to any of them because in my opinion they are all manipulative, self-centred bullies.

We have a 'blended' family, yet wouldn't call ourselves a family as not one of us get along.
Sister 9 months older than me, still lives in the UK, and we exchange emails every now and then. She pulled away from the family when she realised how utterly insane it was.
    Me
Sister 10 months younger than me. She has lots of undiagnosed issues I think. She was always our Mum's favourite, and would assist Mum in assaulting us as children. She now claims it was either help Mum, or be abused herself.
Step Brother 4 years younger- left to join the military, and then sued my mother for damages due to abuse.
Half brother 8 years younger- The only child my Father acknowledged he had, daughters are not worthy of being spoken about.
Step Brother- 9 years younger. His Mother stopped him seeing my family when the abuse became evident, and I've never seen him since.

I wish I had siblings I could talk to each day!
