Eek they can expire?! I tested today with one that had been in the bathroom cupboard for almost 2 years and was insanely relieved that it was negative (I was completely convinced it'd be positive based on symptoms).
I've already thrown out the wrapper, any idea on how long they last before they expiry date is up?

I don't know how long they last but mine was bought in 2012 when we were ttc DS2 so that gives it 2 years. I only knew because it caught my eye on the side of the packet.

I probably wouldn't completely trust an expired pregnancy test - I'd wait a few days and hopefully it becomes unnecessary but if not I'd test again.

Out of curiosity, I used an expired test deliberately. after having already had 9 positive FRERs and positive bloods, i could be confident in the result and am just a POASaholic, and figured id use the expired one too ... i was confident in that i was already UTD regardless of what the test said.

It came up positive as well but the lines were more faint than normal...It was maybe 2 months past expiry.

AF arrived this morning so I guess my expired test was right. So relieved and wish I could curl up with a heat pack but instead have to get DS1 ready and to school.
