    Gosh where to start...

Formula could easily contain cocain and rot holes in babies brains.

Using hair spray and straightening products in DDs hair will ensure it grows long and soft.

Not a parenting one but that watching porn daily with DH would drastically improve our sex life (which does not need improvement anyway)

White bread dipped in tobasco sauce is a perfectly fine punishment for DSS talking back.

Raw cows milk is perfectly safe.

I can heal myself and my children from any ailment with a combination of crystal therapy, homeopathy and pot oil.

DHs hair loss is a sign of a cheating man.

Most of these came from my mother. This is why we don't talk much.
I have so many more but you dont want to hear them.

Smacking a 6 week old is fine if they are being naughty on purpose because it shows them who's boss from day 1-mother of 5 kids

To use Frontline on kids hair for nits

To just let my babies scream bc they have to learn to sleep

To just be subservient in marriage to keep the peace (yeah.... good luck with that one )

That cheating in long term relationships is ok as long as the other person doesn't know (wtf?)

    This makes me so sad

My MIL told me I was spoiling my 3 week old by picking her up every time she cried "she's already worked you out. She's got you wrapped around her little finger!" Riiiiggghhhht!

My own mother insisted I feed my oldest puréed food at 4 weeks so she would sleep through and also "don't try and give a baby water they won't like the taste, you have to put Ribena in it"

My MIL is usually good but she suggested purees around the 1 month mark too. Say what!? She cant even hold her head up yet and you want me to jam food down her throat!?

From my F&MIL- giving DD4 a drink of warm milk before bed will get her off to sleep better at night (she CMPI and sleeps perfectly fine however she had just had her tonsils out a few days prior so was in a lot of pain and just needed mummy cuddles)

If I change DD1 diet her diabetes will go away. Um she's a type 1 diabetic there is no cause or cure, she survives by having her insulin and the kid eats the cleanest, healthiest diet around!

When I was 20 I had recently broken up with a long term boyfriend. I was at my best friend's house and her SIL & BIL were over there visiting at the same time.

I was talking about my financial situation being a bit tight at the time (I worked in retail back then and my permanent part time wage was only a little over $200 a week). The BIL said to me "you know what you need to do Degrassi, is have yourself some kids".

Because having kids is a real money-maker
