Oh and anything by Wilbur Smith, my fave is the Egyptian series. Also Kelley Armstrong if you like werewolves and witches.

But Peeta deserved better. That's my beef with it - he loved her and protected her and she is all bitter and twisted at the end. He deserves someone who adores him, not who is with him by default. Although I confess I haven't read it for a few years and might be remembering that all wrong.

Yes, he deserved better but he was also broken. And after everything he can still love her? What a guy.
I agree- the ending is somewhat disappointing. I don't want to say too much because of spoiling it for others but whenever I get to the end I feel a bit let down.

    I am teem gail.

Seriously he saves her family. Loved her for who she was for years and still loved her after she declared her love for peeta over all panam. Never pressured her and had the balls to tell her she was being a *****.

I love peeta. I wanted him to marry primrose. They would have been swoony together

Actually the first time i read the books i thought she was going to end up with haymitch.

Ok other books i loved and couldnt put down....

Anything by john whyndam esp the christallids and triffids

    George orwell

    Jules Verne

And i loved reading the book version of war of the worlds.
