    Default Adelaide Hubbers

    Welcome @fionaalicia

I can't help with the IVF side of things, but there is a thread for the Adelaide IVF girls, so hopefully someone can help you. http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...-IVF-Ladies-17

I hope that's the right thread! I've seen it pop up in the new threads list before.

It was a blood test for me and a semen test for my husband. The doctors at repromed said that my husband has no issues but they have a very strong feeling that I have pcos and want to do further testing. I got a weird vibe from them so wanted to look at other options before continuing with them. I have heard wonderful things about simona fischer can anyone else with a similar situation give me some advice. Thanks in advance and I look forward to chatting with you guys 😀
Hi fionaalicia (and everyone else, don't think I've posted in this section before :0 )
I am similar to you - PCOS (anovulatory) but hubby was fine. I have a bad news/good news story though. 2 years of fertility treatment for us (we went through Flinders IVF) but now I'm 29 weeks pregnant with a baby girl.
Sounds like some more investigations are needed for you at this stage. You might benefit more from seeking info in the assisted conception area of the forum.
Not sure what you mean by getting a weird vibe from repromed but you do need to be comfortable with your healthcare providers. I was very happy with our specialist at flinders. Good luck with it all, and as it has been said some people with pcos do manage to get pregnant naturally too so until you know what's happening in your body try not to worry too much.
    Happy Mother's Day to all

    Hi there,

I would highly recommend Stephen lane (who has helped me get pregnant each time) and his partner, Simona Fisher is also excellent (I've seen her a few times when Dr Lane is away). They do their ivf out of city fertility at Henley beach and their practice is on king William Rd at goodwood. I love them to bits. It's all highly personalised and they really listen to you.

I've also been to repromed. It's a very different vibe. I'm not saying it's less good, just different. They seem to turn around blood results quicker because their lab is onsite, their scanning machines are much higher tech, but I felt like it was less personal. I think it's really good to get a specialist you like and trust.

    Good luck with your decision.

Flinders fertility, based at flinders med centre is excellent if you're over that side of the city

Yep. I went through Flinders Fertility. They were good with me; and I was blessed to have a first time success, who is 22 days away from her first birthday.

I saw Linda mckendrick but I believe she works with other people via IVF clinics. I just had to stop using her as my epilepsy and Ashford didn't work hand in hand I would love to have another baby just to see her again 😂 her co worker though *vomit face*

    Happy Mother's Day girls.
