I am in the process of changing jobs and my application has been pushed up in HR for like 7 positions. I have a list of companies with details on the applications i carry around so when i get a phone call off a hr rep, i don't sound like an idiot. It also has a list of answers to common questions on the back so i can answer any questions in a fluent manner without mixing facts or stuttering/ stammering/ sounding like a total fool.

It depends on lots of things. Mostly what number in line he is. If they have 500 applicants, they might call back 20 to put them to the next round. Usually this is another HR team, they will cull half or 2/3's and then interview the rest. I hope your DH is still applying for every position possible. You don't have a job until you have signed the contract.

Is he cold calling? He is a tradie isn't he? Has he thought of asking local self employed people with his trade to see if they need assistance?

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie and also from Adelaide (western suburbs) my husband and I have been trying for a baby for just over 8 months now with no luck. My periods since coming off the pill have been very irregular with long (some times no period at all) I thought it was just my body adjusting to coming off the pill but last week we decided to get a fertility health check with repromed. It was a blood test for me and a semen test for my husband. The doctors at repromed said that my husband has no issues but they have a very strong feeling that I have pcos and want to do further testing. I got a weird vibe from them so wanted to look at other options before continuing with them. I have heard wonderful things about simona fischer can anyone else with a similar situation give me some advice. Thanks in advance and I look forward to chatting with you guys 😀

    Welcome @fionaalicia!

I'm not able to help with your question but I hope the other ladies are.

There's also a PCOS section in the forums, I think it's under conception and fertility. You can have a browse through others threads for info or start your own thread asking the questions you have asked in here.

Good luck on your journey! I hope it's a quick one and I look forward to seeing you in our little thread too!

Hello and welcome.....I totally understand where your coming from, as I have PCOS, but within a year of trying I conceived naturally, I have 2 kids.

Mind you, I've had PCOS for 15 years, but never tried to get pregnant and my periods were all over the place.

In my personally opinion, keep trying, don't stress and when you don't expect it, it will happen.

But I totally understand you. *hugs*
