I found it odd how people are concerned to know whose who.

I am but I'm not. I am as I like to be able to vent and if that means saying something not so complementary about DH, my work place, my family, in laws etc I don't want to be known. I'm usually pretty careful what I say though.

I also don't want future employers being able to find me and make judgements on me based on the way I parent. It's a long stretch but you never know!

I am sure most people wouldn't be concerned until your work involves confidential information and you can be done for defimation as your contract says you can't discuss your workplace. But you know.....

And employers do. If people don't think employers google perspective employees, you are wrong. They also go over your social media accounts. I have seen people turned down for jobs due to social media.

This ^ I always google people who apply for positions that I'm on the panel for. Especially as the right person for a job isn't the person with just the right skills and experience, but team fit is especially important.

Also I think here in adelaide you need to be even more careful because everyone knows everyone else. It is still a small town here.

Got an appointment to check out Goodstart Early Learning at Plympton tomorrow afternoon. Hoping to get DD in there just 1 day a week. It looks like a good centre, just from the little I could see online.

Hopefully you love the centre and there's a place for her!
