I'm doing ok. I miscarried my 5th pregnancy over the Easter weekend, so could be better, but I'll get there. I do have one beautiful DD though. Bedtime was fun tonight lol - she was delaying to the best of her ability - can I show daddy the photo of my cousin? Oh, I need to tuck my baby into bed! Mum, what are we having for dinner tomorrow? lol at almost 3 1/2 and she's already using organisation as a means to avoid bedtime lol

Oh that is terrible, I am sorry to hear that. I am sure it is not something you get over easy if at all.

My almost 3 yr old won't stay in his bed alone. It's beyond the point.
I think I would rather have the delay time than this.

I'm probably going there too, just depends on when and how long DS wants to nap today.

I'm also driving past our new house to check on progress.

my daughter did this at about 2. just took a lot of persistence, staying with her next to her bed and giving her things to occupy her mind while she went to sleep. Initially I had to stay there and sing her to sleep. Sometimes now, she still wants to be in our bed, but on those nights I reach a compromise and cuddle her for a bit before putting her back in her own bed. She's pretty good now at stayiing in bed generally though. Last night she was delaying it because her Daddy was upstairs with the men who were visiting, and she wanted to be part of it lol.

I'm still off from work recovering. Technically today is the last day of school term for me because I don't work Fridays. I'm enjoying having the house to myself as DH took DD to childcare on his way to work this morning. I have to go outside and feed the chooks at some point, but other than that I'll probably rest on the couch and might start crocheting or knitting something for DD for her winter wardrobe.
