I agree in having to pay for some things. I just had a look at the harndolf farm, kids 1-12yrs old pay a fee, think it was $12. I understand a 5 yr old, but seriously a 1yr old paying $12?

The cold weather has surely hit Monnie. My girls were so excited to pull out their new winter clothes of puffa vests and boots.

Sounds like you had a busy weekend. If I had a chance I would of popped down to the kite festival.

Oh man, those Haighs chocolates look amazing!

We went to the kite festival yesterday. We live close buy, so just popped down for a bit. DD loved watching all the kites.

Anyone have any thoughts for free/cheap school holidays activities with a 14 year old and a 9 year old? Working with a couple of kids over the holidays, and it's always tricky coming up with stuff that'll keep them both entertained.

Have you looked at what's on for Adelaide families? I find it easy to tell my friend what to do in school holidays but I think I will have the same issue.

    I would suggest....
    Shops
    Harbour town
    Trip to wildlife park
    Movies
    Sleep overs
    A family picnic
    Lunch dates

I'm no expert, still have little ones.

I went to harbour town, loved it.
Usually dress my son in a skivvy and clothing from Kathmandu, really warm clothing.
I'm struggling a little with my girl, I need to get her skivvies today.

Easter is this week, but it will be a normal day for us.
