@Keiko2012 Oh, I hate that – my workplace is similar. There were a bunch of people in my office who all got married around the same time and I’m the only one who hasn’t had a baby yet. 2 of them are actually now UTD with their second! Ugh. TCM is Traditional Chinese Medicine – herbs and acupuncture basically, so it sounds like we’re doing similar things for egg quality. Fingers crossed it has done something! Ah well, if it hasn’t at least we’ll know we’ve tried everything.

Nice to see you again @beej79! Good luck with your new FS. I know someone who switched to him and had a beautiful baby after many attempts with another FS and she absolutely raves about him

Afm, it’s CD1 here, so I had my scan and picked up my drugs this morning. All systems go to start jabbing on Wednesday! Eeeeeek!! I can’t believe it’s finally time. We’re doing the same dose as last time (450 a day), so hopefully I’ll respond okay… I'm so nervous

Thanks @beej79. I guess all we can do is keep fighting and trying again. I can't wait for my appt with my fs. A plan always helps. The emotional struggles are aweful but the financial ones as well. It's gets me so mad that achieving a pregnancy is directly related how wealthy you are. It's so expensive. This will be our last one. Makes my heart break for people that aren't able to be in our position - as hard as it is. So I guess chins up and carry on ha ha. Maybe chins up and ignore the pregnant ladies? He he. Where are you up to? It's hard to stay involved on those bigger forums- I get lost where everyone is up to. And makes me sad just how many people are going through Ivf!

@MrsChino- tell me about it. My work colleagues are having their second and the other her third! I'm happy for them but it still feels like rubbing salt into a wound. I've only told 2 colleagues so far so most people don't know. But will have to tell my boss now once she's back on al as God knows how much time I'll need off after EPU.

So can definitely relate to your nervousness! I think the more you go through these things the more anxious you become about failures again. But! You're time has finally come and you have been patiently waiting and you can do this! I'm praying for some snow babies for you as well. Hoping all the herbs and vitamins have done their job 😊 I can't believe you're on 450 of gonal 😳. Crazy how everyone responds differently.

I'm taking pictures of some of this progress so I can show our future children just how desperately they were wanted and how it took a sports team to make them, he he. God how grateful would you be to all these people involved?!

Great to hear you're nearly there Mrs Chino! All this waiting sucks hairy balls! Keiko we will both be blessed with 2x AF this month. As much as I hate it, I feel happy we can fast forward a bit! 👍 and yay for AF BecT! Feels weird saying that hey.

Is it bad I've completely lost track of the June july thread? I feel like this thread is my little home now haha!

Haha, it's AF party in here Glad you can fast forward a bit too @StillHopeful!

I never looked at the June July thread because I wouldn't be cycling and because the March one got so hard to follow in the end. This is much more my pace

I'm sure the June/July one is even more busy! But I may have just been selfish and stopped following when my transfer was canned 😁

This is my fave thread so far. We all just better get sticky BFPS by xmas!

Well that is understandable. That stuff is crazy emotional and sometimes you need to step back. Yes, there will be BFPs by Christmas!

I think I'm getting more excited now AF is here (and nervous) because I am sitting here eating vegetables instead of chocolate lol. Just one more cycle before getting this show on the road!

Ha ha good one you BecT. I'm the opposite. Have had a punnet of strawberries and chocolate. And I'm not even a choc fan but the one my dp bought is so different and delicious.... Definitely need to go for a walk before night shift! blerr.

AF party ha ha stillHopeful. I kinda did a big catch up on the thread this am. So much happening in there! This one is so much easier ha ha!

Just spoke to the genticist re testing of embryos. She said at my age 70% should be normal. And they can ou test top quality embryos and risks are they get inconclusive tests back or the embryos get damages.... With my ****ty eggs there's not much hope for testing then... Well touch wood the ****ty eggs were a one off! Surely there can't be 2 infertile people in this house! Or 5 including the cats he he he.
