Default When did you get your BFP with a day 6 transfer

    Hello Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone would like to share the day they received a BFP with a day 6 transfer?

I tested this afternoon after holding for 90 minutes at 5dp6dt and was a BFN. I'm just devastated it hasn't worked and we will need to do a fresh cycle.

Any stories would be much appreciated

    Thank you

I didn't want to read and run...
We had a 5dt and got a BFP at 9dp5dt on FMU ...
I d say with a six day transfer you will need to wait until 8dp6dt and do it with your first wee of the morning...
Don't give up hope just yet ..
It's hard I know but sometimes you just have to wait.
Sending big hugs and much patience.

I got a bfp on my last cycle at 4dp5dt but my HCG was through the roof. Prior to that it was 6dp5dt. I wouldn't count yourself out unless your testing negative at 8dp6dt realistically. Oh and try arvo pee - was always darker than fmu for me! Good luck Hun!

I agree with Blinky you're not out till you get to 8,9 or 10dpt.

A six day transfer means the embryo still needs the same amount of time to implant and for HCG to build up in your blood****** for it to then be expelled in your pee.

At five days post transfer you are testing pretty early.

Also 90 minutes isn't enough especially if you had a drink beforehand. You need to test with first morning urine after holding it all night, and no going to bed at 1am and getting up at 3am isn't the same!

As PP said some people get a better result with afternoon urine - I don't know why but give that a go.

I'd say wait another three days at least before you start thinking you're out.

Also, First Response Early a Result tests have the lowest minimum threshold to show a line at 5. Some of the others don't trigger a line till 25 which in doubling days is four days later than a FRER would show a faint line.

Thank you everyone for your reply. It really is very much appreciated:-)

Looks like I will keep up my obsession with the first response tests.... More than likely daily.

    Thanks again
