    Default NSW Winter holiday destinations

We're looking to go on a winter holiday but not to the snow. We want somewhere we can drive to (we live in Western Sydney), probably no further than 4-5 hours away. Looking for somewhere that you don't necessarily need to spend a lot of money to have a good time. Our daughter will be about 2.5 at the time so enjoyable stuff for her would be great.
We go to the Central Coast often so don't want to go there.

    Thanks!

Why not go a bit further up to the Forster or Port Macquarie area? There's lots to do and see.

Not NSW but have you considered Canberra? I'm in Western Sydney too and go there around 4 times a year.. There are lots of things to do that aren't too expensive, it can snow too which my kids love! Your daughter would love the walk in aviary, dinosaur museum and Cockington Green!!

    Newcastle perhaps?

There's plenty of family friendly stuff to do with a toddler. It's also a good base for short drives to places like Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley.

I don't prefer going to NSW, you need to try something far away like Europe or USA even if you are short with budget you can try UAE.
