    Default holiday ideas for anniversary

Next year in Oct is DH and my 10th wedding anniversary. I was thinking of going back to Airlie beach where we honeymooned for 4-5 nights child free.

Now I am thinking could we travel over seas somewhere just the 2 of us for 4-5 nights for max $5000ish. If so where would you go? I would like to relax a little I have never been away from my 4 kids since having my first 7 years ago. BUT I would also get bored with sitting there all day so would like to get out and see/do some things too.

We have been to Fiji and are hoping to get to Singapore this year so I would rather not go to any of them.

    TIA

Bali is gorgeous & very cheap for 5 star accommodation. Before actually coming here, I was never interested but fell in love with it after being here. Heaps to go out & do or stay by the pool/beach to relax also if that's what you want too

New Zealand is gorgeous and fairly inexpensive for flights. I'd recommend the South Island.

I second New Zealand. different sight around every corner. not expensive and not too far away. both islands have their own charm. a cruise is often good value, and you only unpack once. have fun, marie.

I'd recommend Vanuatu or Samoa great for relaxing with the honeymoon ish vibe but still things to do and see. We went there almost 6 years ago and loved it.
Another place you could look at is Sabah again a place to rekindle but still things to do and see..

Depends where u go and wat you want to do. 4 nights on queenstown would be lovely, as would Auckland or lake taupo (I love taupo, so beautiful!).

Thailand would be nice, and although I'd love to go to bali I find it hard to think about going to Indonesia at the moment.

(Ps used to be a travel agent which is why I replied )

If u can stretch it out to 7-8 night, Hawaii would be lovely. My favourite place
