Default Melbourne IVF - Frozen Embryos

    Hi ladies,

I have a 2 year old and we are ready to cycle again. We have 3 frozen embryos with Melbourne IVF.

Does anyone know the process for going back to IVF? Do I need to see my Fertility Specialist again or can I just ring Melbourne IVF and organise the embryo transfer seen as though I have frosties?

Good question. I don't know the answer but I do know that referrals only last a year and are needed for a Medicare rebate so you prob need a trip to the GP.

Im with mivf. You need to make an appointment with your/a fs. They will kick it off for you.
    Good luck.

I've got my FS appointment booked now thanks ladies. I was hoping I could bypass him and go straight to MIVF (impatient much!) lol

Awesome. Everything should move along pretty quickly. Once I saw the fs everything was in place and ready to start. Had to do bloods of course. And then just waited for my period.

Hi @FutureMummy, I was in same situation at MIVF...just be prepared that you & DH will need to have your blood tests redone. You will also need an updated referral if you didn't already have a permanent one.
    Best of luck
