Yes 930am! That's right - the golden eggs are about to come out so no more cycles will be needed.

Well I don't think I got any golden eggs. Three were retrieved but they didn't look that good. Two were graded B and one C (I've never had eggs graded before - they probably only told me this because I kept asking questions about them). I know they can't tell quality just by looking at them but I'm not feeling hopeful at the moment, particularly given my age and history. I wonder if I was triggered too early. Always endless questions about what could have been done differently...this IVF game is just so frustratingly random. I'm over it today!

I've never heard of graded eggs either... just mature, or immature.
I'm sorry to hear of your frustration and disappointment. I'll pray that the 3 fertilise and although they 'don't look that good' now, they all get a real boost tonight and when you wake, you receive a positive call from your clinic.

    Look after yourself.

@Golden Egg I hope you received a wonderful call today with brilliant fertilisation results. You deserve it hun. After reading your post I asked my clinic about egg gradings but got nowhere! I have 1 fertilised egg with a 3 day transfer booked, if the embryo makes it to Sunday.

Thanks girls. One egg was apparently immature and I have one fertilised egg. I'm going to see if it can make it to day 5. Fingers crossed for us both Tahli!

I found out about an hour ago that it's still going and is 6 cells with no fragmentation (that was a loooong wait). I would have preferred 8 cells but I'll take 6. So now we wait another 2 days...

I just saw on the other thread that you have a grade A, 8 cell embie on board. That's such brilliant news! Fingers crossed that this is it for you. x

Ta @Golden Egg! I wish I was brave enough to grow Lone Ranger out to 5 days to increase his chance of success but I feel quite happy that he's snuggled up inside me now. Your embie sounds like he's going along fantastically! Super good luck for Tuesday!! xx
