    How is everyone going ?.

I'm stretching every dollar I have and it's going well, today I spent $16 at the supermarket and before I started buying things I didn't need I got out of there!

I will be buying only what I need this month. I have menus planned and I will make a shopping list before I leave home. I always intend to only buy what is on the list, but end up spending more, so this thread will help keep me on track. I have made my plans for Easter and I don't need to buy anything for that this month. marie.

I completely forgot about Easter Marie, I will need to pick up some things for Dd and Dsd, as even though I don't live with her anymore I always get them the same things. So that's extra I need to budget for, I'm not big on buying lots of chocolates so will hopefully find some cheap books and pjs.

I did manage to finish last week with money in the everyday account, apart from the money in the savings account. so that makes me feel better. now I have to focus on living on the everyday money, and just adding to the savings. my rego is 700plus, so that is my savings target minimum. marie.

so far i am progressing well. i have made a promise to myself that i can only buy one thing for myself in a month. i keep the receipts so i keep myself honest. if i buy two things then i cant buy anything more for two months. having an account at rockmans is a huge temptation for me. so i have to put a limit on myself. marie.
