I'd love to join in too! Fantastic to read about everyone's journey ... very motivational.

I lost heaps of weight a few years ago and then over the last 18 months I have got really slack with food and the weight is finding its way back Reality has hit, I'm not the sort of person that can relax the eating if I wish to keep the weight off.

January rolled around and I started seriously with a personal trainer who doesn't listen to my whining about pain or the fact I'm going to vomit in his studio, plus changed my eating habits.

My weight hasn't dropped dramatically but my endurance/strength have increased and my body shape is changing. Next weigh in is Tuesday so no getting slack over Easter

I have had my weigh in today, 76.8 kg. so now I have lost a total of 5.7kg. im happy about that. but im not sure about the accuracy of the scales. Last week I had a gain of 1.2 kg, and this week a loss of 1.9 kg. seems a bit of a major shift in weight. but I will take what the scales read. electronic scales so they should be right. I can see a difference in how my clothes are fitting, marie

    thats awesome

I do find that my weight fluctuates a bit depending on
    - time of day of the weigh in
    - whether i have been to the toilet
    - time of the month / cycle
and a few other things ...

    Well done Marie!

I'm the same as KatiesMum - the fluctuations are annoying. I guess that is why 'they' encourage us to measure more and weigh less.

Yes I to get the fluctuations. I put on half a kg to a full kg a week before af and lose that plus a bit more the week later.
I didn't get to weigh this morning.

Is anyone else finding it a bit of a struggle of the easter weekend? I am really struggling to stay on track, I really don't want to give up, I always find weighloss such a struggle.

I have had no trouble staying under my calorie goal today. But having this much chocolate in the house will kill me over the next few weeks. But I was in a foul mood today so didn't indulge at all.

I think I must be developing muscle, I have had a small gain this week, but I feel pretty good. I know my clothes are getting looser, and my BMI is down two points, and my Body fat is down 2% so that is good. I have to increase my steps. marie.

Well my weigh in after Easter (very cruel if you ask me ) I did ok. I've lost 3.2kg last month.

I'm now training 4 to 5 times a week (an hour), two programmes changed fortnightly, it is nice to finish each programme a little quicker each day (usually!).

I will have a little brag - I'm not very co-ordinated or confident and this fortnight one programme had box jumps in it. Never been able to do very high box jumps, but now I've finally made it to the lower height of the actual box - so the 40cm jump. A small thing for most people, but a huge boost to my confidence.
