    Default Tips for me time??

Do you have any? How do you fit it in? What do you do?
I've been feeling lost, love my 3 kids but been sahm for 8 years, no family here, friends all working while I have my surprise baby #3. I think we'd all be better off if I had some me time, got any suggestions??

If my youngest goes off to sleep ok at night, I often stay up and do some sort of crafting that I enjoy. Sometimes I will be up half the night doing it and have minimal sleep, but I usually still feel pretty good the next day having done something I like doing.

Maybe you could try getting engrossed in a good book once the kids are in bed?
Watch a tv series you enjoy?
    Do a workout dvd?
Have a shower and wash your hair (saying that as I did this at 3:45 this morning just because I got to shower alone, uninterrupted! Well, uninterrupted til the baby woke, anyway lol).

I have the 4 kids and a dh who is away most of the time. Finding 'me' time is hard! I usually stay up after the kids are in bed just so i can be alone, whether its watching tv or taking a long bath/shower... just enjoying the silence. I have my nails done once a month and while sometimes i have to take kids with me, i normally try to time it for when dh is home so i can go by myself and have an hour or so just to relax. Same with my hair which i have only just started having done after over 8 years!!

Honestly though my fave me time is after the kids are in bed.

On the weekend i left my 3 home with dh and went and got my favourite lunch, saw a movie on my own and window shopped. It was bliss, i'll be doing this once a month for sure.

We homeschool so "me time" is hard lol. We used to have them in school though...

They play basketball ( inlaws take them/sometimes we go too),
They go to youth group/kids club at church.
They get babysat about once a month so me and dp go out.
I catch up with gf's every so often..
