    Does the light thing work? Where you shine a light through the test and if the line shows ((with a bit of color to it)) it's positive?

    It's not accurate to do this. sometimes you can see a bit of colour (or you can't tell if there's colour or not) when you do this, I've found shining a light onto the test from on top (not behind) is what shows if it's an evap or not. All my evaps would disappear when shining a light onto the test, but true positives would be easier to see when shining the light onto the test. Shining it through the test just confuses things

    Okay, thank you(:
    I'm hoping to get some clearblue tests today along with some dollar store ones; AF is late so should maybe get some darker positives (:

    Please avoid dollar store tests and Clearblue as they are notorious for evaps and false positives. Please, please, please get a First Response hpt.

    I've had evaps on frer even recently! The new ones in the pink packaging sometimes give an evap line. They're not as free from evaps as they used to be when they had the old white packets.

    UPDATE;

    AF is still late. Faint positive last night but two negs this morning ; not sure which test to go by. 😖

    I have one test left, I'm going to try the holding it for 2-3 hours then retest.

    I would assume by now you would be getting consistent bfp's. Perhaps go to the doctor and get your bloods taken
