    Default Mildura peeps

Anyone from Mildura or go there often enough to know where is a good place to eat? I'm (un)fortunate enough to get to spend my 30th birthday there and have absolutely no idea where to go for a good meal and a fun night. Has to be somewhere kid friendly. I think we're staying just up the road from the Working Man's club but that's a little *too* casual for me. So, any decent pubs, Chinese, Thai etc?

    Hi I'm from Mildura!
Thai-riffic is really popular - their menu is on Facebook.
Or if price isn't a concern then Jim McDougall in Stefano's Cellar is an experience you won't regret! That's also in Langtree Ave under the Grand Hotel.
    Happy 30th

I'm not from Mildura, but fairly close and we go there reasonably often. We often eat at the pizza cafe at the Grand. SENSATIONAL pizza but more classy than a pizza shop, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the suggestions. We had breakfast at the Working Mans Club and then Thai-riffic for dinner. While it wasn't the best Thai I've eaten, it wasn't bad. The Pad Thai definitely went down a treat!

Wow Mildura has so many great options! Trentham Estate Winery or Jim Mcd in The Grand would have been my first choice for a special occasion - amazing food and atmosphere. The other restaurants at the Grand, like Pizza Cafe are also really great and the brewery is a fun buzzy atmosphere. We love our visits to my home town it's grown up a a lot and even coming from Sydney, it has so much to offer.
