I was only late because hugo was sick then they put his date of birth not his day of vax! 😳 bloody moron doctor!!

I haven't updated my name. Do I have to. 😂 I'm married. But who says I want his name. I've kind of just kept mine. Secretly.

Do they get the info about vaccinations automatically? Or do we have to tell them?

I'm just going to wait until hubby does his taxes, then I'm sure Centrelink will get the info automatically, right? Or do I need to go in?
I'm thinking the ato communicates with Centrelink...

Are you on myGov? If you are you can link everything so everything is linked. If you don't link it they will still get all the information but possibly take longer. Apparently we earned $200 more last tax year than our estimate then boom! Cancelled our family tax for this year! That all happened after my tax was processed only a week ago even though I submitted it last year! But it's always an estimate that Centrelink requires from us so it doesn't make sense to cancel before the end of the tax year.

Oh if you are on myGov you can also link Medicare so all the departments will have all your information automatically.

In my experience centrelink are quick to cut payments off with little warning but then take ages to reinstate.

When i was a single mum i received a letter saying my payment was being cut due to my new job earnings.
I didnt have a new job :/ went in and saw them and it was a system error but still took them another fortnight to reinstate my payments

I don't like to link my personal details on line. Hopefully it's sorted soon. I'm ready to pay all the money back. Would be nice not too. Ha Ha

This kind of thing happens alllll the time. Don't even expect an apology. I can't even count how many times I've received random letters saying I've been cancelled or my rate is changing etc

It's SUCH a hassle having to call up, be on hold forever, and them be like "Oh I don't know why that happened" but usually they'll reinstate payment unless there's some justifiable reason (and they have to be able to tell you why).

Sorry you got stooged, it's a bummer. I'm sure it'll be fine when you call
