Ok finished. This included his sixers badge, 3 specialist badges, leaders badge, 12 achievement badges, link badge, his 6er badge and his bronze boomerang. We have an event tomorrow so they all needed to be sewn on. Now off to bed.

Wow, I didn't realise that scouts didn't have a sash like guides. I was a guide when I was younger. A sash is so much easier!!

I am wishing we lived near the beach. Just saw a post on FB of someone doing yoga overlooking the beach. What an amazing way to start your Sunday morning!

I hated overlooking the beach. I swear if i never do again, i would be gappy. The sand that blows into your house is so feral and everything is always sandy.

Hmm that's true, everything outside always feels sticky at my parents beach house from the salt and that's 2 streets back from the beach. Ok I wish I lived within a 5 minute drive from the beach so I could drive to a yoga studio that overlooks the beach :-D

Amused and horrified at the same time. I've decided to play the 'I'm not here, it's your turn to be the parent' game. But have been giving DP instructions as DS needs different things. DP gave him lunch and all went well so I told him to change his nappy. 5 mins. 10 minutes and then DP puts DS on the floor to play. I said 'unmmmmmmm, the nappy?' He said 'oh no, there's nothing in there'
DP, you do know he wee's right?

    Oh, riiiiiighhhhhtt.

Next thing I hear from the other room, 'Geez mate, that's a really wet nappy'

I hate to think how long DS would have worn that nappy if I really wasn't here. :eyeroll:
