I think it's a gorgeous idea and I love that they are bringing the 'home' to the daycare. It's very respectful and shows they care about their kids and families.

I love this idea! It shows a want to partner with families.

    I'd put empathy.

It is a lovely idea. It's actually really made me think more consciously about what values I want to instil in my son.

I had it narrowed it down to

    Be persistent
    Be brave
    Be honest
    Be compassionate
    Be kind
    Show empathy

But all these suggestions are great so now I want to write down everything. It's fascinating to read about what is important to people.

I was just coming in to say this one!

We had to do this when DS started pre prep and it stumped me at first too. We went with 'kindness' and I was happy with that.

    You've got me thinking now.

What about "independence". Because I like to think I'm teaching my kids how to become responsible and independent human beings.

I like "growth" too as suggested by SPG.

I also like to have my kids feel safe and secure at our house, as opposed to other places in their lives. So "safe", "security", ooooh what about "belonging"?

    Safety.
    Communication

Only because this day care doesn't seem to be on the ball when comes to safety or communication.
