Hi Sumaiya, I'm not sure what type of cycle I'm doing but it's a long one. First cycle didn't work, eggs and fertilisation were good, just didn't stick. On my second cycle now and 1/2 way through it. They gave me Pessaries for this cycle but my last one I used Pregnyl injections.

    Default HELP please - RPA

Hi everyone. I've just started my first cycle of IVF with RPA & I have my first blood test tomorrow (to check for pregnancy). I just realised I don't have a referral & I'm wondering if I can just turn up at RPA pathology with my paperwork? I need to be there between 7-8 & need to travel an hour so don't have a chance to call & check. Was hoping someone on here might have been through RPA & know??? Thanks in advance!

Hi, no you just turn up, but get there early as most times it gets really busy. When you walk in there is a clipboard on the front counter where you put your name down, and tick if your doing bloods or scan and fresh or frozen cycle. It's all covered with all the paper work you should have filled in. Good luck and hope the drugs don't make you feel too yuk. X

You're amazing - you have completely eased my mind. How early do you mean? Where are you up to in the cycle now?

I went early so I could get to work or back home early , as I had my little girl with me and to get a parking spot. I was usually waiting at 6:45/6:50. Parking was my main concern. I've finished my cycles but had no out come. I'm nearly 45 so it was a bonus if we got pregnant again.

A few more questions sorry! When should I get af? I took my last provera 4 days ago. Also - how long after retrieval is implantation? And what time of day? (Trying to plan ahead with work is so tricky - although I know this takes total priority I like to be reliable). Thanks so much in advance ladies!
